Our survey of over 500 London delivery riders confirmed that the costs involved in riding electric are far less than the equivalent petrol vehicle. We have listened to riders and put together a package which suits you!
Fill in the details form and when we contact you we can discuss this. It may be that we could buy your scooter off you – giving you some instant cash.
We don’t promise any particular range, as this is dependent on riding style, temperature, loading and tyre pressure. According to our research the GreenMo scooter will suit the majority of riders. However if you have a long commute or do 16 hour days without stopping (which some riders say they do) then the scooter might struggle. If you do run out of juice, don’t worry, our recovery service will get you home. Depending on circumstances there might be a charge for this.
No. The scooters and the insurance are both designed for high-intensity delivery-based usage but not for any specific company. If you would like to rent our scooters for some reason other than delivery, get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
Unless you are a car driver who passed your driving test before 1 February 2001, then yes – the rules are the same as for petrol.
Electric vehicles can accelerate surprisingly quickly and smoothly, our scooters are no exception. Unless you are trying to race a superbike away from the lights, you’ll be fine!
The scooters are limited to 30mph. Many riders believe that they can only deliver quickly if their bike has a high top-speed. This is not true. GreenMo riders get the same or more deliveries per hour as those on 125cc scooters and bikes. Our data suggests that it is mostly riding style and road sense, rather than top-speed, which determines how many deliveries you can make in an hour.
It can be charged at a normal household socket, or from a roadside charging point in central London, or at various Deliveroo sites. If you would like a scooter but you’re not sure how you are going to charge it, get in touch and we’ll see if we can help you.
Unfortunately, our scooters are only available for rent by the week. We are hoping to implement a more flexible model soon.
We have a minimum term of 4 weeks, after which you can cancel at any time with one weeks’ notice.
Yes, the price includes full delivery insurance with MCE

GreenMo scooters are far more reliable than the vast majority of petrol scooters. Petrol scooters with complicated internal combustion engines have over 200 parts that can break or fail. GreenMo bikes just have two parts that make up the motor. If your petrol scooter breaks down (and they do break down quite often), you have to find a garage and stop working until its fixed, and then you have to pay whatever they charge you. If your GreenMo scooter fails, we come to you the next working day and replace it. For free.
There is a display on the scooter which shows you a percentage of charge remaining and also gives an idea of how many km of range it is likely to have.
It takes around 7 hours to charge the scooter fully.
We tried for a long time to sell the previous generation of these scooters to delivery riders. However we found that the upfront cost is too much and there is a lack of servicing facilities. So, we decided to rent them to riders, and take all the servicing on ourselves. This means we give you the best possible service and keep you efficient and reliable on the road.
